A five-week Sunday school curriculum for kids on wisdom from God's Word. Sunday school lessons from five books of the Bible, each one showing kids a different kind of smart. Kids hear a lot about being smart: grades, tests, knowing the answers. Over five weeks they pull five books off God's shelf (Nehemiah, Esther, Genesis, 1 Kings and James) and see where real wisdom comes from. Every week points to Jesus, God's wisdom in person. Two editions, written separately: Kids (ages 6 to 12) and Preschool (ages 3 to 5). Both rooms learn the same Bible story each week, each told for its age. Each edition is its own download. The 5 weeks
💡 Big Idea: God gives real wisdom through His Word, and He gives it most fully in Jesus.

✝️ Gospel Connection: God's Word can make us wise for salvation through faith in Jesus. Jesus is God's wisdom in person: He listened to His Father and did every word. Jesus died on the cross for our sins and rose again, and everyone who trusts Him is forgiven and belongs to God forever.
Both editions teach these five stories. The Preschool edition tells each one more simply.
Week 1: God's Word Changes Lives (Ezra, Nehemiah 8)
- Bible Story: Ezra Reads God's Word to the People (Nehemiah 8:1–12)
- Key Discovery: Wisdom starts with hearing and understanding God's Word, and the joy of the LORD is His people's strength.
- Takeaway: I can listen to God's Word and ask what it means.
Week 2: Wisdom Knows When and How to Speak (Queen Esther, Esther 4 and 5)
- Bible Story: Esther Speaks Up for Her People (Esther 4:9–5:8)
- Key Discovery: God puts His people where He wants them, and wisdom speaks up bravely, at the right time and way.
- Takeaway: I can ask God for courage to speak up at the right time.
Week 3: Wisdom Chooses Peace (Isaac, Genesis 26)
- Bible Story: Isaac Digs Wells and Makes Peace (Genesis 26:12–33)
- Key Discovery: God was with Isaac, so he could let quarrels go; wisdom makes peace because God takes care of His people.
- Takeaway: I can choose peace, trusting God to take care of me.
Week 4: Walk with the Wise and Become Wise (King Rehoboam, 1 Kings 12)
- Bible Story: King Rehoboam Chooses the Wrong Advice (1 Kings 12:1–16)
- Key Discovery: The voices we listen to shape our choices; wisdom listens to wise, godly counsel, and Jesus is the wisest King.
- Takeaway: I can listen to wise people who point me to God.
Week 5: Wisdom Means Doing God's Word (James 1)
- Bible Story: Doers of the Word (James 1:22–25)
- Key Discovery: Wisdom means doing God's Word, not only hearing it, and Jesus gives His people new hearts to live it.
- Takeaway: I can do what God's Word says, with Jesus' help.
