#BLESSED is a 4-week curriculum for children aged 6-12 designed to help them recognize and appreciate God's blessings in their lives. It teaches kids to spot and celebrate God's gifts in their daily lives through engaging Bible stories, interactive activities, and thoughtful discussions. Children will learn to identify God's blessings, big and small, and share these "good news stories" with others. By the end, kids will understand that true blessings come from God and how to spread the word about His goodness in positive, meaningful ways.

Main Idea: God blesses us abundantly, and recognizing His gifts fills our hearts with joy and gratitude.

Gospel Connection: Jesus is God's greatest blessing to us. Through His life, death, and resurrection, Jesus shows us how much God loves us. When we believe in Jesus, we receive the amazing gift of God's forgiveness and eternal life. This is a blessing we can't earn – it's a free gift from God! Recognizing this incredible blessing helps us see all the other ways God blesses us every day, big and small.

4-Week Lesson Overview

Week 1: #PraiseParty 

• Bible Story: Psalm 103 Celebrating God’s Goodness
• Additional Scriptures: Ephesians 1:3, James 1:17 
• Main Idea: Because God's blessings are everywhere, we can always find reasons to praise Him. 
• Gospel Connection: God's greatest blessing is sending Jesus to save us from our sins. When we believe in Jesus, we receive forgiveness and eternal life. This amazing gift gives us the biggest reason to praise God every day, no matter what else is happening in our lives. 

Week 2: #NoWorries 

• Bible Story: Jesus' Teaching on Worry (Matthew 6:25-34) 
• Additional Scriptures: 1 Peter 5:7, Isaiah 41:10 
• Main Idea: Because God cares for us perfectly, we can trust Him instead of worrying. 
• Gospel Connection: Jesus died on the cross to take away our biggest worry - being separated from God because of our sins. When we trust in Jesus, we become God's children forever. Knowing this helps us worry less about other things because we can trust our heavenly Father to take care of us, just like Jesus promised. 

Week 3: #Content 

• Bible Story: Paul's Letter to the Philippians (Philippians 4:4-13) 
• Additional Scriptures: 1 Timothy 6:6-8, Hebrews 13:5 
• Main Idea: Because God provides all we need in Christ, we can be content in any situation. 
• Gospel Connection: Through Jesus' death and resurrection, God has given us everything we truly need - forgiveness, love, and eternal life. When we understand how much we've been given in Christ, we can be content even when we don't have everything we want. Jesus' love is enough to satisfy our hearts.

Week 4: #RiseUp 

• Bible Story: Joseph's Rise to Power in Egypt (Genesis 41) 
• Additional Scriptures: Romans 8:28, Jeremiah 29:11 
• Main Idea: Because God's plans never fail, we can trust Him to come through in difficult times. 
• Gospel Connection: God's perfect plan was to send Jesus to save us, even when it looked like sin had ruined everything. Just as God used Joseph's challenges to save many lives, He used Jesus' death on the cross to offer salvation to everyone. When we trust in Jesus, we can be sure that God will work out His good plans for us, no matter how difficult things may seem.
