Your Sunday, solved. Everything you need lives in one file. Open it, read the script, and you're ready in minutes, not hours. Stage directions and supply lists included, so even a first-time volunteer can lead with confidence.
A four-week Easter series for kids: meet the Come Back King. Every week, kids meet someone who thought their story was over, and the risen Jesus shows up: Mary Magdalene at the empty tomb, Peter restored at the beach, Thomas and his doubts, and the frightened disciples behind a locked door (John 20–21). Week 4 is written for Easter Sunday. Two editions, written separately: Kids (ages 6 to 12) and Preschool (ages 3 to 5). Both rooms learn the same Bible story each week, each told for its age. Each edition is its own download. Teaching both rooms? The All-Access Pass includes both.

The 4 weeks
💡 Big Idea: The God who raised Jesus from the dead specializes in second chances, and He is not done with anyone in this room.
📖 Memory Verse: "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away. Behold, the new has come!" (2 Corinthians 5:17) BSB
🔍 Theme Hook: Kids step into four resurrection comeback stories from John 20–21. Each week they meet someone who thought the story was over (Mary, Peter, Thomas and the frightened disciples) and discover that Jesus shows up with grace, restoration, answers, peace and a new purpose.
✝️ Gospel Connection: Jesus died and rose again so broken, doubtful, fearful people can be forgiven, restored, and sent with His peace. The empty tomb opened the door for every person who has failed, doubted, or hidden in fear to receive a new beginning with the Come Back King.
Both editions teach these four stories. The Preschool edition tells each one more simply.
Week 1: Chosen Again. Mary Magdalene at the Tomb (John 20)
- Bible Story: Mary Magdalene at the Tomb (John 20:1–18)
- Key Discovery: God chooses unexpected people to carry His most important messages.
- Takeaway: Your past doesn't disqualify you. Jesus sees who you're becoming, not just what you've done.
Week 2: Failure Isn't Final. Peter Restored at the Beach (John 21)
- Bible Story: Peter Restored at the Beach (John 21:1–19)
- Key Discovery: Jesus restores people personally. He doesn't forgive from a distance; He shows up.
- Takeaway: When I fail, I can come back to Jesus, because He already has a place for me at the fire.
Week 3: Proof Over Panic. Thomas and the Risen Jesus (John 20)
- Bible Story: Thomas and the Risen Jesus (John 20:24–29)
- Key Discovery: Jesus meets us in our doubts. He doesn't shame us for asking hard questions.
- Takeaway: When I have doubts, I can bring them to Jesus instead of keeping them to myself.
Week 4: Comeback Crew (Easter Sunday). Jesus in the Locked Room (John 20)
- Bible Story: Jesus Appears to the Disciples in the Locked Room (John 20:19–23)
- Key Discovery: Jesus comes to us in our fear and sends us out with His peace. The comeback is never just for us.
- Takeaway: I don't have to have everything figured out to be sent. Jesus shows up, gives His peace, and sends us anyway.
