Dive In! 4-Week Children’s Ministry Curriculum will take kids on an adventure through some of the Bible's most exciting water stories! We'll float with baby Moses, part the Red Sea with God's power, discover water in the desert, and cross the Jordan River on dry land. Each week, we'll learn how trusting God helps us navigate life's deep waters and come out swimming!

Main Idea: When life gets deep, trust in God keeps us afloat.

Gospel Connection: Just as God provided ways through water for His people, He offers us a path to eternal life through Jesus. Sin can make us feel like we're drowning, but God sent Jesus as our ultimate lifesaver. When we trust in Jesus, His love and forgiveness wash over us like a refreshing stream, giving us new life with God that lasts forever. 

4-Week Curriculum Overview

Week 1 - But Wait, Babies Can't Swim!

Bible Story: Exodus 2:1-10 (Baby Moses in the Basket)

Lesson Main Idea: God's love keeps us safe, we can trust His plan.

Gospel Connection: God sent Jesus to rescue us from the danger of sin. When we trust in Jesus, God's love surrounds us and keeps us safe for eternity.

Week 2 - Did Your GPS Say We Could Cross Here?

Bible Story: Exodus 14:13-16, 21-22, 26-28, 30-31 (Moses Parts the Red Sea)

Lesson Main Idea: God makes a way when there seems to be no way. 

Gospel Connection: Jesus made a way for us to be saved from sin. When we trust in Jesus, He leads us to new life with God. 

Week 3 - Excuse Me, Your Rock Is Leaking!

Bible Story: Exodus 17:1-7 (Water from the Rock)

Lesson Main Idea: God provides for our needs in surprising ways. 

Gospel Connection: God provides living water through Jesus. When we trust in Jesus, He quenches our spiritual thirst and gives us eternal life. 

Week 4 - I'm Sure a River Was Here Yesterday!

Bible Story: Joshua 3:14-17 (Crossing the Jordan River)

Lesson Main Idea: Stepping out in faith leads to God's blessings. 

Gospel Connection: Jesus opens the way to God's promises when we step out in faith. Trusting in Jesus is like crossing over from our old life to a new life.
