About the Great Give Back Series

Great Give Back is a four-week Sunday School curriculum for children's ministry on generosity and thankful giving. Kids hear a lot about getting: new stuff, more stuff, their turn. Over four weeks they meet people who gave. Jesus watches a poor widow put two small coins into the temple treasury and says she put in more than all the others (Mark 12); poor churches in Macedonia give with overflowing joy (2 Corinthians 8); a woman in Shunem and her husband make a room for Elisha (2 Kings 4); and the first church family shares what they have, as Barnabas sells a field and brings the money (Acts 4). Giving here is never a test. It grows out of grace, and every week points to Jesus, God's best gift.
