Welcome to Game Plan — where you’ll discover that God isn’t sitting in the stands watching your life happen. He’s on the sideline with a clipboard, a whistle, and a strategy that’s been undefeated since the beginning of time.. Lace up your cleats, team — it’s game time.

💡 Big Idea: God is your Head Coach — and His game plan for your life is undefeated.

📖 Memory Verse: Jeremiah 29:11 (BSB) “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a future and a hope.”

✝️ Gospel Connection: Every great team needs a coach who never gives up on them — and that’s exactly who Jesus is. He drafted an unlikely roster: fishermen, tax collectors, and ordinary people nobody else would have picked. He trained them, ran beside them, and when they fumbled — and they did — He didn’t cut them from the team. On the cross, Jesus ran the ultimate play: giving His life so that everyone who trusts Him could win the victory over sin and death. He is the undefeated Champion, the Coach who already knows the final score, and He is inviting you onto His team — not because you’re the strongest or the fastest, but because He loves you and has a game plan for your life that nothing can stop.

5-Week Lesson Overview

Week 1 — Draft Day

  • Bible Story: God Picks the Underdog (1 Samuel 16:1–13)
  • Key Discovery: God doesn’t look at what people see on the outside — He looks at the heart.
  • Takeaway: God has already scouted you, and He picks you for who you are on the inside.

Week 2 — Rookie Move

  • Bible Story: Timothy’s Training (1 Timothy 4:12–16)
  • Key Discovery: Being young doesn’t disqualify you — training and faithfulness do the work that age can’t.
  • Takeaway: You don’t have to wait until you’re older to live for God — your training starts now.

Week 3 — Teamwork Wins

  • Bible Story: Aaron & Hur Hold the Line (Exodus 17:8–13)
  • Key Discovery: No one wins alone — God designed His people to hold each other up.
  • Takeaway: When someone on your team is struggling, you are called to step in — and when you’re the one who’s tired, it’s okay to let your team hold you up.

Week 4 — The Prophecy Play

  • Bible Story: Huldah Calls the Audible (2 Kings 22:8–20)
  • Key Discovery: When God’s Word speaks, the wisest play is to change direction immediately — even if it means throwing out your old game plan.
  • Takeaway: God’s Word is the Coach’s voice calling the play — and the smartest move is to listen and respond fast.

Week 5 — Championship Mindset

  • Bible Story: Paul Runs to Win (1 Corinthians 9:24–27)
  • Key Discovery: Following Jesus is not a talent show — it’s a training season that requires daily discipline and focus.
  • Takeaway: Faith isn’t about being naturally good — it’s about showing up to train every day because the prize is worth everything.
