What are the VBS pledges?
Many churches open each day of VBS with a pledge to the Bible and a pledge to the Christian flag, and many American churches add the Pledge of Allegiance. A different child holds the Bible and each flag every day, and the whole group stands and says the words together. It sets the tone and brings order to the start of the day. Churches outside the United States can use their own flag or leave that pledge out.
