Each lesson connects the wonders of the animal world to God's plan of salvation, showing how Jesus came not just to save people, but to restore all of creation. We encourage children to develop a personal relationship with Jesus, emphasizing that the same God who designed each amazing animal wants to know them personally. Through engaging activities and discussions, we help kids see how trusting in Jesus and walking with Him daily allows them to fully appreciate and participate in God's ongoing work in the world. By the end of this series, children will understand that the God who cares for every creature cares infinitely more for them, inviting them into a lifelong journey of faith and discovery with Jesus as their guide and friend.

Gospel Connection: When we look at all the amazing animals God made, we see how creative and smart He is. The Bible tells us that God made everything, including all the animals, and said it was "very good" (Genesis 1:31). Even though sin came into the world and messed things up, God still takes care of His creation. That's why He sent Jesus - not just to save people, but to make everything right again (Colossians 1:19-20). When we trust in Jesus and what He did for us on the cross, we become part of the New Creation and wait for everything to be made right in the end.

Week 1 - God’s Connected Creation

Bible Story: Psalm 104:10-18

Additional Scriptures: Isaiah 11:6-9, Matthew 6:26-30

Lesson Main Idea: God made all the parts of nature to work together in harmony and will restore that harmony through Jesus. 

Gospel Connection: God's creation shows His love and power, but what we experience is not the final version. Human rebellion against God (sin) broke the natural order and brought suffering into the world. But the Gospel promises a new creation, purchased by Jesus' death on the cross and launched at his resurrection. By faith, we can be at peace with God and live in expectation of the final restoration of all creation. 

Week 2: God’s Amazing Animals

Bible Story: Job 39:19-30, 

Additional Scriptures: Genesis 1:24-25, Proverbs 30:24-28

Lesson Main Idea: God shows His creativity and power through the amazing animals he made. 

Gospel Connection: Animals' incredible abilities reflect God's unlimited power and wisdom. This reminds us of Jesus' perfect design for saving us through His death and resurrection. Trusting in Jesus' sacrifice allows us to experience the fullness of life and join God's wonderful plan.

Week 3: God’s Tiny Teachers

Bible Story: Proverbs 6:6-11

Additional Scriptures: Proverbs 30:24-28, Luke 12:24-26

Lesson Main Idea: God has given wisdom to even the smallest creatures, which can teach us valuable lessons.

Gospel Connection: The Bible says we can learn from animals, but God speaks most directly to us through Jesus Christ. His death on the cross for our sins and His victory over death through His resurrection allows us to live a life guided by His wisdom and love.

Week 4: God’s Animal Agents

Bible Story: 1 Kings 17:2-6

Additional Scriptures: Numbers 22:21-30,  Jonah 1:17-2:10

Lesson Main Idea: God is in charge of everything and can even use animals to carry out his plans - even pausing the normal way things work to a miracle.

Gospel Connection: God can use animals to fulfill His purposes and show His power - even pausing the normal way things work. The resurrection of Jesus is the most powerful display of God’s love and power. Believing in Jesus’ death and resurrection empowers us to see God's hand in our lives and inspires us to follow His guidance faithfully.
