A five-week Sunday school curriculum for kids in the King James Version on what God is like. Sunday school lessons on the character of God: five of His attributes, each one shown in a Bible story. Kids ask big questions about God: Is He real? Does He see me? Can He handle this? This series answers with who God is. Over five weeks kids meet the God who keeps His promises, as Abraham and Sarah welcome the son God promised (Genesis 21); the God who is with His people everywhere, as Jacob wakes from his dream far from home (Genesis 28); the holy God, as Isaiah sees the LORD on His throne (Isaiah 6); the almighty God, as Jesus speaks and the wind and the sea obey Him (Mark 4); and the God who is love, as a father runs to welcome his son home in a story Jesus told (Luke 15). One truth runs through all five: we see God most clearly in Jesus. Available in Kids (ages 6 to 12) and Preschool (ages 3 to 5) editions.

💡 Big Idea: God shows us what He is like.
📖 Memory Verse: "Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable." (Psalm 145:3 KJV)
✝️ Gospel Connection: The clearest picture of what God is like is Jesus. In Jesus we see God's faithfulness, His nearness, His holiness, His power and His love. Jesus died on the cross for our sins and rose again, and everyone who trusts Him is forgiven and gets to know God forever.
