A four-week Valentine’s Day Sunday school curriculum for kids, in the King James Version, on God’s love. Sunday school lessons from four Bible stories, each pointing to Jesus, who loved us first. A servant girl’s kindness changes a general’s life (2 Kings 5). Jesus tells a dinner host to invite the people everyone else overlooks (Luke 14). Paul shows how Jesus put others first (Philippians 2). Hosea’s story shows a love that never quits (Hosea 1 to 3). It’s built for the Sundays around Valentine’s Day, and because the teaching is about God’s love, not the holiday, it works any month of the year. Two editions, written separately: Kids (ages 6 to 12) and Preschool (ages 3 to 5). Both rooms learn the same Bible story each week, each told for its age. Each edition is its own download. Teaching both rooms? The All-Access Pass includes both.

The 4 weeks
💡 Big Idea: God loved us first, so we love others.
📖 Memory Verse: "We love him, because he first loved us." (1 John 4:19) KJV
✝️ Gospel Connection: Every story this month points to the greatest valentine ever sent: God loved us first. Jesus left heaven, took the lowest place, paid the highest price, and rose again to bring us home. We don't love to earn His heart. We love because we already have it.
📜 Bible translation: Scripture in the lessons is from the King James Version (KJV).
Both editions teach these four stories. The Preschool edition tells each one more simply.
Week 1: Kindness can change everything (Naaman and the Servant Girl, 2 Kings 5)
- Bible Story: Naaman and the Servant Girl (2 Kings 5:1–14)
- Takeaway: I can be kind to someone who is hard to love.
Week 2: Love makes room for everyone (A Seat at the Table, Luke 14)
- Bible Story: A Seat at the Table (Luke 14:12–14)
- Takeaway: I can notice someone left out and make room for them.
Week 3: Real love puts others first (Love Looks Like Jesus, Philippians 2)
- Bible Story: Love Looks Like Jesus (Philippians 2:1–11)
- Takeaway: I can put others first, the way Jesus did.
Week 4: God's love never quits (Hosea’s Faithful Love, Hosea 1 to 3)
- Bible Story: Love Never Quits (Hosea 1–3)
- Takeaway: I can trust God to keep loving me, even when I mess up.
