King James Version edition. The Scripture in these lessons, the memory verse and the memory verse poster are all from the King James Version. Print-ready PDFs (no editable Word files).

Your Sunday, solved. Everything you need comes in one download: open the week, read the script, and you’re ready in minutes, not hours. Stage directions and supply lists included, so even a first-time volunteer can lead with confidence.

A KJV Easter series for kids: four Sunday school lessons from the sealed tomb to the risen Jesus, in the King James Version. It’s Not Over! walks kids from the saddest Friday to Easter dawn: the quiet day Jesus was buried (Luke 23), the sealed tomb no guard could keep closed (Matthew 27), the parade that welcomed the King (Luke 19), and the happy morning that changed everything (Matthew 28). It’s built for the weeks around Easter, and because the Bible teaching is about trusting the God who is still working, churches use it for children’s church and Sunday school any month of the year. Two editions, written separately: Kids (ages 6 to 12) and Preschool (ages 3 to 5). Both rooms learn the same Bible story each week, each told for its age. Each edition is its own download. Teaching both rooms? The All-Access Pass includes both.

One room with a wide age range? Start with the Kids edition. It gives older kids jobs to lead, puzzles in two levels, and pages for early arrivals and early finishers. The Preschool edition is written for 3 to 5 year olds, so it will likely feel too young for kids 8 and up.

Each edition is its own purchase. Want both? The All-Access Pass includes both ↓

The 4 weeks

💡 Big Idea: When everything looks finished, God isn’t done.

📖 Memory Verse: "He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay." (Matthew 28:6) KJV

✝️ Gospel Connection: Jesus died on the cross, and it looked like the end of the story; even His closest friends thought so. But God raised Jesus from the dead; the tomb was already empty when the stone rolled away. Because Jesus lives, sin and death never get the last word, and God stays faithful even when hard things don’t change.

Both editions teach these four stories. The Preschool edition tells each one more simply.

Week 1: God is still working in the waiting (Luke 23)
  • Bible Story: The Death and Burial of Jesus (Luke 23:44–56)
  • Key Discovery: Even on the saddest day, God’s plan kept moving, and the quiet waiting was part of His plan.
  • Takeaway: When God seems quiet, I can trust that He is still working.
Week 2: Nothing can stop God’s plan (Matthew 27)
  • Bible Story: The Tomb Is Sealed (Matthew 27:62–66)
  • Key Discovery: Afraid the body would be stolen, the leaders sealed the tomb, but no seal or soldier could stop God.
  • Takeaway: I can trust God with a problem that feels too big.
Week 3: God’s plan is bigger than the parade (Luke 19)
  • Bible Story: The Triumphal Entry (Luke 19:28–40)
  • Key Discovery: Jesus came as the promised King, just as God said, with a plan bigger than the crowd could see.
  • Takeaway: I can praise King Jesus even when I don’t understand His whole plan.
Week 4: Jesus defeated death forever (Matthew 28)
  • Bible Story: The Resurrection (Matthew 28:1–10)
  • Key Discovery: The women came to a sealed tomb expecting an ending, and met the risen Jesus, exactly as He said.
  • Takeaway: Because Jesus is alive, I can trust Him when I am afraid.
