💡 Big Idea: When life feels stormy or stuck, God is with us. He protects, leads, speaks, and even uses unexpected people to bring help.

📖 Memory Verse: Psalm 46:1 — “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”

🔍 Theme Hook: A playful island survival game-show spoof. Each week kids tackle “challenges,” open a weathered field file for the Bible story, and finish with a kind, positive Rescue Council—voting which fictional castaway receives a supply crate or encouragement (never voting real kids “off”). Optional team bandanas/leis and island décor amplify the fun.

✝️ Gospel Connection: Jesus rescued us through His death and resurrection; now He is with us in every storm. We practice trusting Him, praising Him first, listening for His voice, and helping others.

4-Week Lesson Overview

Week 1 — Castaway Island: Paul and the Snake Island
 • Bible Story: Acts 28:1–10
 • Key Discovery: God protects and heals—and He calls us to show kindness.

Week 2 — Stranded and Singing: Jehoshaphat’s Wild War
 • Bible Story: 2 Chronicles 20
 • Key Discovery: Praise God first—He fights our battles.
 • I can always: Pray and praise before I panic.

Week 3 — Lost but Not Alone: Elijah’s Burnout in the Cave (Father’s Day)
 • Bible Story: 1 Kings 19
 • Key Discovery: God meets us in quiet whispers and gives what we need.
 • I can always: Slow down, listen for God, and receive His strength.
 • Father’s Day (optional): Thank God as a perfect Father and honor dads/mentors.

Week 4 — Waves and Warnings: The Shipwreck with Julius
 • Bible Story: Acts 27–28
 • Key Discovery: God keeps His promises and works through surprising helpers.
 • I can always: Stay together, follow God’s guidance, and help others.
