In this 4-week series, kids discover that God loves helpers—and that His biggest work usually gets done together. Each week they meet a hero’s sidekick from Scripture—Aaron and Hur holding up Moses’ arms, Jonathan’s armor-bearer, Barnabas standing up for Paul, and the boy who handed Jesus his lunch—earn a Helper Badge, and take on a two-person challenge where one person can’t win alone, so they feel how support changes everything.

Kids hear all the time that they should be the star, the leader, the one out front. This series shows them that quiet, faithful help matters to God—because the greatest Helper of all is Jesus, who served us first so we can serve others with joy.

💡 Big Idea: God loves helpers. Sidekicks matter because God’s work is usually done together.

📖 Memory Verse (BSB): “And let us consider how to spur one another on to love and good deeds.” (Hebrews 10:24)

✝ Gospel Connection: Jesus came as a servant and helper — He gave His life for us. Because Jesus served us first, we can serve others with joy. The church is one team with one mission.
