Teach the Lord’s Prayer for Kids Using the Words that Jesus Taught
“The Lord’s Prayer” Matthew 6:9-13 ESV
9 Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. 10 Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread, 12 and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Kids need to learn how to pray, but it can be hard to know where to start. Prayer is a vital part of our relationship with God, but it's something that many of us struggle with.
That’s why we created The Lord’s Prayer 5-lesson curriculum series. Now you can teach your children how to pray using Jesus' model prayer as a guide. Each lesson is designed to keep kids' attention, help them understand God's Word, and engage them with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The curriculum includes Bible lessons, activities, coloring pages, and worksheets to help kids learn the model prayer of Jesus. It's perfect for Sunday School, Kids Church, or other children’s ministry classes.
Children who grow up immersed in Christian teaching have likely heard of the importance of prayer, and are probably familiar with the Lord’s Prayer. However, they might not understand the significance and the biblical power of prayer that Jesus taught. They might not quite grasp just how and why we pray. Prayer is a beautiful gift of communication given to us by God, our loving heavenly Father. We don’t have to use the exact words of this prayer, but we can rejoice and give thanks that God calls us His own and that He wants us to know Him deeply, even while He is holy beyond comprehension.

I started this curriculum this month and I love it. It breaks down the Lord's Prayer in a way for children to understand. I can't wait to get other curriculum from this company.
